I did a ricer flyby in my B18A1 mated to YS1 flat black civic. Wanted to know what the car sounded like at full rip coming and passing so I could hear the exhaust note. Exhaust is a Type R header, high flow cat with a Skunk 2 Mega Power catback.

The YS1 tranny gears are so close that 1st leaves me at 40kmh, second at 80kmh, third at 120kmh and I fly by the camera at 140kmh

14.57@92mph with 2.0 60'

  • YS1 + LSD = 14.57@92

  • Sounds like a go-cart

  • What do you expect out of a 100$ motor, 500$ car, and about 20 hours of work lol.

  • my 89dx same motor thinking about going with b16 tranny. And my motor is mint. I took an rsx last night. Need new clutch any suggestions...

  • lol

my crx cost 100 dollars, the body looks like shit but the motor, roughly 100,000kms on it

  • Probably more. But who cares, it was 100$ and I ran a 14.57 with it, what more do you ask for! I'd love to see other 100$ motors do the same.

  • best bang for the buck id say

  • Good point...
