The whiteboarding issues are also a concern but we have whiteboarding associated atthe gadget/widget lvel so all events are relative to the location of the gadget on the screen at for participant. Additionally, Huddle Manger allows each participant to personalize (drag, drop) gadgets on their screen so User-A may have the map gadget in upper left corner and User-B may have it in lower right or for that matter minimized. Again, the framework manages these complexities.
Sorry I have to post this as several responses since YouTube has a limit on the response size.
-- Each user is running their own instance of the web application being rendered by their local browser.
n the case of purpose built applications, resolution is not an issue but mouse positioning does come into concern for whiteboarding. Our framework deals with these complexities.
In he case of Huddle Manager, which is a specif co-web application for ad-hoc meetings.
I watched all 4 videos. Question. When doing web browser sharing, is there one browser running that gets broadcast to the clients, or are there two browsers (or browser widgets) running. And if there are two, how do you deal with potential differences in resolution. Unless the resolutions are equal on each side, how could mouse click locations be estimated?
