Minaret ban wins Swiss support - Russia Today

The Swiss have given their overwhelming approval for a ban on the construction of minarets on mosques in the country. The results of the referendum held on Sunday were condemned as anti-Islamic by Muslims. The ban was proposed by a right wing party, which says the towers are a political symbol.

We have some imams who openly say that their goal is to introduce Shariah law also in Switzerland. Since then we have a problem with the political symbol of the minaret as a symbol of introducing another law in Switzerland, claims Schlüer.

God Bless the Swiss! Finally some european country has taken a stand against the Evil of Islam. Hopefully the other countries will follow suit with this brilliant step in the right direction. This vote is a triumph for democracy and a blow to islamic intimidation.

If the minaret is a symbol of Islam and the injustice, betrayal and oppression of religious minorities that Islam stands for, then the Swiss can implement whatever laws they want within the borders of the country and the Islamic propaganda machine can't do to much. If you are not Muslim but want to support Islam I say go to Saudi Arabia to see what kinds of liberties await you. Saudi Arabia, the crown jewel of Islam, is an apartheid state, with "Muslims only" cities and highway signs. Apartheid.

In the USA, church bells once rang out over towns: playing Christian songs, announcing time for church, etc. They are banned from most towns now. There's no difference in "Christian noise" and "Muslim noise" affecting those who don't want to hear it.
