Ive had this laptop for about a year and a half and the wireless card always has problems and the battery burns my lap. Have you been having the same issues?

ive had mine about the same time.

i haven't had many problems with the wi-fi card but the battery is horrible.

i can only have it un-hooked for around 30mins before i have to plug it back up.

and the computer does get rather hot.

I have the same problem... This laptop's battery goes out WAY too quickly. I am not even exaggerating when I am saying that the battery life runs out in less than 45 mins... WTF!

and the overheating problem. sigh. but when it overheats, everything is slow and freezes. I am- so not buying an hp product every again. totally unsatisfied.

Mine is basically dead now.

Yours is probably getting ready to go too.

The overheating is caused by the motherboard.

HP has GREAT desktops,but their laptops blow...

Which one is better G-61 or G-60? Someone told me it was G-61.
