The ORIGINAL Whack-a-ferret.

Percy my adopted Persian climbed on top of the box the ferrets were playing in did his best to keep the top of it "ferret free"! The ferrets are Puck (sable), Pan (Panda with a white head), Johnny Rotten (sable mutt with white paws), and hanging out in the box and not once getting whacked - clever Jack (silver)!

Ferrets are wonderful pets but a LOT of work and very expensive to care for. Please read "Ferrets for Dummies" cover to cover before considering getting one - http://tinyurl.com/yfj8uvs

Ferrets are also often surrendered to shelters by those that can't afford to or no longer want to care for them. So please check shelters when you decide to get a ferret. All of my ferrets (and cats and dog) are all from shelters. Ferret shelters by state - http://www.ferret.org/links/shelters.html

  • Hello, as a realistic and responsible ferret owner can you tell me your experiences with biting? My Hubby and I bought a pet shop ferret who may not have been socialised and he bit me severely twice in the beginning. Is there hope that he will become more handleable? I've read what I can find and want to be able to have a good relationship with Charlie one day. The Bites were unexpected, he seemed relaxed and nothing made him jump or anything....any advice?

  • @NadimahElizabeth Is he young? If so, kits can tend to be quite mouthy. When he bites just gently scruff him and drag him gently on the floor. That's what a mother ferret would do to reprimand. What colouration is this ferret? It also could be that he's deaf and you're startling him. Also please buy Ferrets For Dummies and read it cover to cover - something you should have done long before getting a ferret.

  • people totally underestimate ferrets, it's hilarious. your pets are awesome by the way.

  • @vaelapapke Thanks :) They're very amusing. Sadly, though, all but Pan in this video are gone. This was from over four years ago.

  • That flatface will kill one of the ferrets one day if you dont observe them all the time..

  • @Rumpeskalk Thanks, Owl. Yeah you're an idiot Rumpe. See my comment below.

  • @Rumpeskalk It's called a PERSIAN and ferrets and cats are both CARNIVORES and equal on the food chain. I've also had this Persian cat for over FIVE YEARS. So please. Go post your idiotic comments elsewhere and refrain from posting about things you don't have a CLUE about. You're just making an ass of yourself. And FYI - my ferrets are never left out when I'm not home. Not because the ferocious "flatface" will kill them but because it's just common sense to cage them when you're not home.

  • Awwwwhh cute ferrets and Persian cat!!! I'm Persian :))
