Oh my gosh! At last a 16 year old Deanna Durbin singing a song meant for a young girl to sing. So many great sopranos have sung this, but with the exception of Miss Durbin's performance, few if any sound like a young girl. I think Mirusia Loewasser could come close. But Jackie Evanco and Holly Steele don't yet have enough power, technique or range yet to perform this piece well. Time will let us know. By the way, I loved Deanna Durbin's singing from the first time I listened to it.

LOL she starts making up the words at the end, it is so typical of a 16 year old! Very cool, thanks for sharing this, she is amazing! She has phenomenal technique already, which is rare these days.

@eze102 What ever happened to listening anymore? No one has any time to sit down and let a voice echo in their mind.

Lovely singing and ludicrous conducting.

Canadian songbird Deanna Durbin! She sings Juliet's Aria from Gounod's Romeo et Juliet with a lot of style and technique. Very beautiful. Loved it.
