Anakbayan's 11-year Anniversary featuring the East Bay Premier of "SOUNDS OF A NEW HOPE" documenting the life and music of Filipino-American MC Kiwi, and the growing use of hip-hop in the Philippine struggle for national democracy.

This is a FREE event with DJ Psani,
performance by Power Struggle
and additional surprise guests TBA.

Also celebrating the birthday of Andres Bonifacio,
father of the Philippine revolution in 1896.
Happy Birthday, Andres!!!

Food and Kasama Kakes served at 7pm to help celebrate!

Anakbayan East Bay is a youth/student organization in the East Bay that educates, organizes and mobilizes Filipino youth and students around the collective interest of poor and working-class Filipinos in the East Bay, while linking our local struggles to the conditions and popular movement for National Democracy in the Philippines.
