Bought a TV from those BUMS in the Bay Ridge store back in 89. (NOT a native NYer.) Picture tube gave out (POS Sharp TV) in a month. The Chasid owner said "you did not buy store warranty don't waste my time" and when I said screw this he sicked his security gorillas on me. What jerks

LOL!!! OK let me explain. The Wiz is, or rather WAS a chain of electronics stores in New York City for around 20 years. They totally sucked, but they were everywhere and famous for this gingle. They sued rapper Bizmarkie when he made a record called "Nobody Beats the BIZ", and because of the lawsuit were forced to change the name of the stores from just "the Wiz" to the entire phrase "Nobody Beats The Wiz" What a very strange and silly way to revive the jingle.
