The book trumps both versions.

But is very hard to reach...

Bib-budget films doesn't have to mean top-notch Ray Harryhausen special effects. You must look out for the decorative sets, the acting, etc.

I wish they wouldn't remake these kinds of Movies. They should remain Classic! I love the 1959 Version of The Journey to The Center of The Earth. :)

No remake can beat the epic awesomeness of this movie.
This november, I think, will be the movie's 50th anniversary.
