Unfortunately UMPC's have been out for a few years but the media doesn't pay attention to anyone but apple.

  • I bought it 2 years ago on ebay :] .

I've got the ux280p (on US market) model with core solo 1.2 Ghz 1GB of ram and 40 GB harddrive .

actually a 40 pin can deliver up to 133mbps, but u can get a sata adapter to make it more efficient, and most ssd's are not 40 pin thats what i mean, most are sata

  • @tsunayoshi987 1.8" ZIF drive that is. 40-pin. The SSD's can be pretty fast (80mbps)

  • @adrienspawn no i dont think so, i dont think the device has support for sata, i think its pata, so u might wanna get a pata one, which is much slower by a lot, or get a sata one and a cable that converts it

  • that thing has aero activated! holy shit it must be powerful!

  • Aww. Sadly with the economy we scrapped toegther an insane amount of money and everyone really got a kind of iPod in my family, even my step uncles. Now they have these full out computers for about the same price.

  • NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

  • Yeah any 1.8" SSD or HDD should work.
