  • "And the celebrate the myriad ways that I love you."- Slow Hands. Good song so suck it bitches.

  • @sirsmokeaalot14 You might want to get that checked out by a Doctor

  • @TheBarroomHero Because when I first heard "Evil", "Slow Hands" and their more popular songs, I didn't care for them. I love the first album because of the scope, and the pure quality of each and every song. It has this very "cool" and "noir" feel to it. Like the outro to "Stella", that sums up to me the feel of the album. The throbbing bass, the really subtle and sexual lyrics. I just love the feel of that, and their later stuff doesn't appeal to me in the same way.

  • @TheBarroomHero It's not about that. it's just about the quality of the albums, and what I look for in music. Antics is very different than TOTBL, but I still enjoy it because it is "fun" and a lot more light and has more of a pop feel. For me nothing can top "Stella" or "Obstacle 2" or "The New". that album had so much scope. I don't like a LOT of the newer things they've done. I hate Slow Hands, I hate Lights. it's just about the mood of the first album. It was quality to me.

  • @dradfromthebu I feel that your outlook is mainly driven by the fact that they don't seem as unique as they used to be. Post Punk is much more popular than it was when they started so when you hear a new Interpol album it reminds you of other contemporary bands. TOTBL has some of their better songs individually, but OLTA and Interpol are much more cohesive as albums. Each song seems like it was written to complement the one before and after it.

  • @TheBarroomHero Because Turn on the Bright Lights is without a doubt their best album. It is dark, unique, sophisticated... so much better than their latest album. There's no comparison. I also like Antics, but it's still not as good as their first album, but I appreciate the "poppier" sound in it, but the lyrics are at times horrible, and "Slow Hands" is awful, and the lyrics in "Not Even Jail" are so horrible. But Narc, Public Pervert, C'Mere, and Take you on a cruise are all awesome.

  • Honestly. How is this better than their latest performance on Letterman? I will never understand the unwavering popularity to hate anything that came after their first album. Their first album was great, but how have they digressed?

  • @92screenager Wow. Nailed it!

  • this song without the outro is like sex without orgasm

  • That's right bitches 4 dislikes.
