Mormons are not Christians because Mormonism rejects the most fundamental affirmations of the Christian faith.

They believe that Christ saved the human race from physical and spiritual death. Sounds like the most fundamental affirmation of the Christian faith.

It all sounds nice until you take a closer look.

When a Mormon speaks of Jesus what does he/she mean ? The Jesus of Mormonism is a created being and the brother of Satan. While the Jesus of the Bible is God incarnate in human flesh who is himself the propitiation for our sins. Not the same Jesus by a long shot.

The Bible teaches there is only one God, while Mormonism teaches polytheism. Such teachings place Mormonism outside of anything that can legitimately and honestly be called Christian.

The Jesus of x denomination of Christianity has different things ascribed to him. Each denomination believe they are following the 'real' and 'true' Jesus. Even if the other denominations don't recognise it. That's one reason why they are all different.

People attribute different things to what they define as Jesus. As each religion does with God.

In the broadest and basic sense mormons are christians.

Good video EXCEPT for stating that Mormons are Christians, which they are not, as they reject the fundamental tenets of Christianity (monotheism, virgin birth, trinity as one).

They are a kooky little sect, that hopefully will end up as a small footnote in history.

Belief in Jesus Christ does not make a person Christian. Satan believe in Jesus, the Muslims believe in Jesus. Are they Christian? as a former LDS, God helped me open my eyes to the truth. Mormons wake up and study your own doctrines.
