  • hey do you have schematic please?

  • search for LM3914 - click on first link. there are examples on the page and on the datasheets

by the way, those are some long ass pots :-)

  • Hi, can you make a diagram for this??

  • I have a stereo 10-band graphic equalizer that has a set of independent sliders for left and right channels, each slider has an led in it,

im planning on modding this thing using the logarithmic LM3915N...

then i can use it as a VU meter too!

    its gonna be sweet! :D

  • Like smokin' aces, 'sept with components...

  • nvm i found out

  • how can i use the LDR for my 3914

  • the light is fake..XD

  • The LM3914 is doing all the work, it's a bargraph chip. I presume that the other pot is to set either the scale and/or offset of the LDR. The LM3915 is the same chip except it has a logarithmic response for VU meter applications.

Neither chip has anything practical to do with the LM380 which is an audio amplifier.

  • I'm doing a very similar thing as a temperature readout. You've done this video very well. I like how you moved around and froze it with the names added, the music is awesome too.
