Nobody in politics is thanking those who served, 68 years later. So it is on us civilians and descendants to remember those brave men who trained at home and died abroad for us and this nation and her allies. Never forget the sacrifice of those so brave, who willingly risked so much, in the endeavor to preserve liberty and freedom.

If you are fortunate enough to know vet, thank him for me. Remind them that we are forever in their debt, as they, our father's father's, are forever in our hearts.

people forget that in 1939 hitler was bragging about how the germans could do what they want due to him removing germanys signature from the geneva and hogue convention,there for no matter what allied soldiers did on german territory no war crimes could be place on them.
