@Thedrewvideos I'd agree with you if you were saying they didn't accomplish anything deliberately, to poke fun at the pointlessness of the original (not that I think it even works on that level, since I've never seen Mythbusters do anything as mundane as this, a more effective riff would be to blow up a stuff up for no reason, all the while pretending it's for science)
But since you concede that they actually DO accomplish stuff in the original, I don't see how you think this is parody.
