Packed into a small room at the Washington Pavilion in Sioux Falls, the South Dakota Symphony Orchestra and Choir rehearse just 24 hours before the debut performance of the Halo theme music as arranged by Jeremy Hegg.
This small sampling of the Halo theme will give you an idea of the power and emotion of this music. If you want to hear more though, you'll want to get a ticket!
Gamers know the intensity of this music as heard through their noise-cancelling headphones. But we suspect, that feeling is unmatched when compared to the experience of witnessing in-person the majestic sound that can only come from a full orchestra, supported by a full choir, on the stage of Sommervold Hall. If this doesn't give you goose bumps and make your hair stand up, nothing will! Plenty of other space-themed music too, like Star Wars, Star Trek, Back to the Future, and more.
Tickets are going fast, but there are still seats available; set your alarms for tomorrow morning and go to http://www.SDSymphony.org or call the Pavilion box office 1.605.367.6000
