"Dems! Finally! I've been calling you a bunch of times!" An angry Selena yells over the phone. "That's because I was supposed to wake up in 30 minutes," I explain, glancing at the clock. It was 5:30am exactly. "I just don't want to be late," she sighs. "We won't miss it, kay?" "Kay," she agrees. "Where are you? I'm outside your house ringing the doorbell like an idiot!" She exclaims. "I'm at Joe's place," I say, getting up from the couch. Yep, I had to sleep on the couch.

"Well, I'll pick you up in 15," she says before quickly ending the call so I would argue. I walk over to the kitchen and set my phone on the kitchen island. I walk to the cupboard and take out some Lucky Charms. I pick out the rest of the stuff I needed and started making my cereal.

"Dems?" I jump and almost spill my Lucky Charms. "Don't do that!" I exclaim, clutching my chest. "Sorry," he apologizes. "What are you doing up?" He asks, sitting down on the island next to me. "Lena's picking me up in," I glance at the clock," Now 10 minutes." "Why?" "Because Selena, Miley, Justin, Jackson, and I are going to Miami for the week. If not the month," I inform, dumping the now empty bowl in his clean sink. "What?" He says. "We-" "No, I know! But I wasn't invited?" He says, a playful smile on his face. I chuckle," Yes, because Miley doesn't want to see you." "Ouch," he says. "Plus, I'm pretty sure you're gonna be busy with Nicole up there. I'm pretty sure everyone in the neighborhood will hear you, just like last night," I say disgustedly. He looks down and blushes deeply.

I shake my head and slip on some of Joe's jeans. Sure they fit baggy, but it's better than going out with just a t shirt and underwear. I grab my heels and dress and toss them into my bag. "What time was Selena going to be here?" He asks quietly, sitting down on the couch. "She'll be here in a couple of minutes," I say as I see it was 5:43am. "Oh."

"I need to ask you something," Joe mutters after a few seconds of complete silence. "What's that?" I ask, sitting down next to Joe, slinging my bag so it's be behind my back. "Are you going to have tons of sex over there at Miami?" He asks quietly, not looking up from the floor. I blushed. What was up with him? What was it to him? "I-" A honk outside interrupts me. "I-I got to go," I say hurriedly, standing up. I get up and quickly walk towards the door.

"Are you?" He asks sternly, grabbing my arm. "I have to go," I mutter, trying to pull my arm away. "Demi, answer me," he commands. "I said I have to go," I reply firmly, standing my ground. Another honk comes from outside, singnaling that I was late already. That honk made Joe let go. "Bye," I say, blinking way tears. I open the door and slam it on my way out. "What took ya so long?!" I shake my head and jump into the driver's seat. "Were you fighting with Joe?" She questions as I pull the seat belt over me. "No," I say, looking at her. She looks at me skeptically," Demetria Lovato, of you are lying to me, I swear I will crash this car into your-" "I'm not lying, mother!" I exclaim laughing a bit.

"Mhm," she says, setting her hands on the steering wheel. "So what's up with the rest?" I ask, trying to forget the question Joe asked me. "Oh, well, Miley and Jackson will be..." I nod my head each time she pauses to show that I was listening, but I really wasn't.

Joseph's question kept ringing in my ear. I know it wasn't much of a big deal, but why would he care and why would he react that way? It shouldn't really bother him, much less matter to him. It was just sex, right? Sex was sex!

"Demi!" "Huh?!" I exclaim, snapping my head to Selena. "You didn't hear a word I said did you?" "Nope," I say, popping the p. She sighs," God, Justin listens to me more, and he's a guy!" I laugh and see that we were already at my place. Guess that's what she wanted to tell me.

I NEED YOU NOW, PUT ME BACK TOGETHER, MAKE ME RIGHT!
