Synchronizing Fireflies

The video is sped up to around 500%.
This was the demonstration I used in my presentation for my senior project.

Each board has it's own processor, LEDs and Photo-transistors. They use timer triggered interrupts to flash along with a counter to know how far along in phase they are. When the photo transistor sees light, a positive edge triggered interrupt tells the fireflies to jump ahead in phase a little bit until the two blink together. Three have batteries and solar panels to charge them, while the other two are the makeshift first version that need USB power, hence my laptop sitting in back powering them.

@AndrewJYadon no, that was because only 3 of them were in sync mode, so one followed the fourth one away and the other two followed the fifth one in the other direction, they get confused until they are all in sync mode.
