That video was really weird to make. Actually because the Doctor is supposed to be gone and I tried to show him the less I could. Plus the song is really slow and I didn't want to end with something boring (I really wish you won't think so).
At first when I heard this song I felt like it could be a great Doctor/Rose's vid. But I end up (nobody knows why) with the feeling that the Doctor let something behind him with each companion.
I mean Rose has the physical part (obviously TenII) and she managed to trust herself.
Martha is more independant and knows what she can manage to do by herself.
Donna (after the Runaway Bride) changed so much and stopped being so selfish. And of course even she didn't remember, she has a part of the Doctor now...
I don't know if that makes sense for anyone but I wanted to do something simple, from the companions's POV. I wanted to bring back different feelings because call it sad I thought it should be hopeful too...Well I think I failed for that part !
But not my best work though...

I love it how you showed each companion as having similar emotions...the equal comparison. The song is sad, yet hopeful. Best doctor who vid i've seen!

I do not watch Doc Who or know anything about the characters. I am watching this PURELY on the production end - how you edited it, flow, content etc... You say it's not your best work but I am very impressed with the use of space, pacing and very subtle effects. I would love to know what you use for editing and how you did some of the effects. It was definitely NOT "boring". I don't care about the show and I watched it.! As one fellow editor to another, great job!

This was brilliantly done. I love the concept, the song, and the direction you tried to go with this video. I know you said it's "not your best work" but it's far and above a lot that I have watched. I think you did a masterful job. The only thing I would have changed was a bit of the quick scene-to-scene jumping, and made it smoother to match the mood of the music just a bit more... Nice job. Keep them coming.

You should not apologize for this video but I know what it is like to be your own worst critic. This was very well done! I think it is a great companion video and yes there are sad bits but I think the message you tried to convey came through very strong -- their lives are better because he was a part of their experiences. Looking forward to watching more of your videos.
