when Brian is playing a solo, he looks (and acts?) a little bit like Yngwie Malmsteen :)

Lol dude you got better vids then I got from it. Thanks for posting them!

I was wondering how or if Shadow Gallery would handle Strong live. Venom should have been easy to completely duplicate in this one case, since Suspyre was right there opening for SG...though anywhere else it would be difficult to perform the song live, particularly with the high screams.
Though some reviewers of Digital Ghosts mistake all the guest vocals for Brian's and think he has over 4 octaves of range...unless that IS Brian screaming?

@EPM5000 ...(continued)... Also, the band plans on releasing a live DVD / BD after the European tour. They hired a company that will follow them around on their journey and at least 1 show (the last one in Belgium) will get documented by 8 HD cams.

@EPM5000 ...(continued)... As for the unfinished Digital Ghost and Brian's guitar solo; I've seen the setlist that was printed out before the show and it states: "Digital Ghost intro" followed by "Brian's solo piece". Now, whether that solo was meant to be on keyboard or guitar we'll never know...
Watching this over again, I have to wonder if it was intentional that they didn't finish "Digital Ghost" or if they had actually intended to. Poor Brendt's guitar was obviously trying to make this an "unplugged" performance and Brian's solo almost seems to be improvised to allow Brendt to change guitars...

@EPM5000 Thanks again for sharing this material! I've spoken to Gary and pointed him to the videos you uploaded. After having seen them he said it wasn't the greatest performance by the band and he explained they experienced technical issues (Brendt and Carl were mostly affected by it) especially after the first 3 songs.

@kerrylives Thanks for all the info and to the band for a fantastic show despite a few minor problems. I guess that's what warm-up shows are all about. It was well worth our drive from Cleveland to see this and to meet the guys in person! Very excited to see that a DVD/BD is in the works. I'll be all over that when it's released!
