@DcFXC i tried that i few times but it didn't work, maybe its time for me to get a new iphone as mines is already 3 years old :(. Any other suggestions ? i got to wait for 4 more months to get a new iphone

@LaughDieMi you can get one of those cotton sticks and rip a bit of the cotton off and turn it around a few times and try that i done that to my friends water damaged iphone it worked fine

@TheKidDiverse I dunno if you're still monitoring this. But I had the same problem after I replaced the battery myself. The problem is you did not reconnect cable number 3 (the little one under cables 1 and 2). You need to open up the phone again, disconnect cables 1 and 2, then lift the little white tab which locks cable 3 and make sure you push cable 3 well into the slot before pushing down the white tab again. The speaker at the top should work just fine now
