UP Locomotive Coupling - Ennis, TX

Again, during my lunch hour I stopped by the Ennis yard to see what I could see. I couldn't stick around for the rest of the switching they were doing but I caught a single locomotive pull forward, back up and couple to a string of autocars. I had to end the video when the engineer got out to fiddle with something inside one of the doors and the sound of the reved diesel can be heard to build up the air pressure in the brake lines. And just like the last one it was a bit breezy and made holding the camera steady a bit more difficult than normal. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoy what you see.

@hvychvy: Regarding when crossing warning is given: Recent Federal Regulations require that under speeds of 45 MPH, the horn must be sounded so as to provide at least 15 secs., but no more than 20 secs. of crossing warning. This all came about as a result of the new "Quiet Zone" regulations prompted by too many compaints from communities relative to those people disturbed by train whistles. This Engineer is right on target. Precise judgment needed. Doesn't apply at speeds over 45 MPH.
