Noel Harrison sings the Oscar winning classic, the Windmills of Your Mind, from the Thomas Crown Affair film.

Noel also recorded a number of brilliant albums during the 1960s, including the self titled Noel Harrison, Collage, Santa Monica Pier and The Great Electric Experiment is Over.

All the albums featured covers of such artists as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and the Beatles. All the records, apart from Noel Harrison, are now deleted.

  • Acid was intense back in the day

  • the most brilliant offering of Legrand's popular song.

  • He turned up, He did the song (brilliantly) he finished it, then he bowed to the audience, In My Humble Opinion this is a Classic - Thank you

  • makes the hair on my neck stand

  • @glenscott1 i agree as well..but theres still hope...fasion moves in cycle's this kind of sound will come back in again one day when ppl are tired of the harder heavyer styles they will again revert to this sort of sound....then the cycle will continue as music evolves

  • @zarakhast I totally agree that this a masterpiece, sounds like this are no longer made.

  • @VetleZorZ Not necessarily a drug induced psychedelic time, possibly how vulnerable our minds are at different periods in our lives,or simply how confusing the world is to all of us?

  • @glenscott1 Probably there's a lot of truth in that reflection, especially the bit about having to take refuge in your own memories and imagination in a world which is frankly not what it could be or ought to be. But the song is a bit of a masterpiece all the same.

  • A song full of confusion which says to me the world is a confusing mess and the only safe haven is in the memories of your own mind!

  • Indeed bazza you correct. My cousin was his girl friend.
