you're right, I storyboarded my cuts on an Etch-a-Sketch. plus I didn't have an unlimited budget like Francis nor a line of coke from home plate to right field in Yankee Stadium. it does make a difference, really. Plus, his Colonel Kurtz had foie gras by the kilo, 2 for 1 pizzas from Dominos and 32 ounce Slurpees flown in weekly to Cambodia. how else can you explain the absurdity of a fat fuck in that locale...

loosen up. it's a joke. unlike the original I actually cut that in Viet Nam. that first insert is a military helicopter of Soviet design used by their Coast Guard. the second insert is virgin Vietnamese jungle never touched by bombs of the American War. as for the movie when Sheen looks out the hotel window I don't see Saigon I see Manila, and as for Kurtz living in the Cambodian jungle as a Fat F&ck that's impossible. I have lived in the Khmer jungle and have never seen an overweight person yet
