Video begins at 8:01:34pm CST, about 2 minutes after the tornado touched down. I am a little less than one mile south of yates city and Elmwood on highway 78. The first part is looking northwest towards Yates city. The second part of the video is a from a location about 1 mile further south on highway 78 looking north/northeast towards Elmwood and later points off to the east. It appeared the initial tornado was on the ground for about 8 minutes. I pray for everyone involved.

  • Update: The National Weather service reported this tornado was an EF2. I was driving at the time of touchdown, and it actually touched down at 7:56pm cst, about 2 and 1/2 minutes earlier than I thought or saw, but i was at a fair distance away so i could only really see the condensation funnel and i'm sure the tornado was on the ground before i could see it. It was an amazing tornado that sadly caused substancial damage, and @tizyfan14, i am glad to hear no one was hurt.
