Furthermore, the 1986 PRican basketball team that was set-up for international competition was THE best ever in PRican basketball history as it was pretty much unbeaten and it nearly beat the U.S. (composed of simply college players back then). Piculin, Fico, R. Rodriguez, and many more composed that year's team. They beat Canada, Brazil, and many other "heavyweights" of the time. So the '86 did better than any other years.

OMG, one little victory, boo-hoo. And yes, I know about that. What about in other sports in the Olympics? What about in gymnastics, track, and all? No one in PR takes the Olympics as serious as in other countries. Why can't PR win anything in the Olympics when they have the same training resources as U.S. athletes. Cubans train in Mexico with inferior equipment and they kick butt. What's up with that?
