@lekkestief I'm glad you liked the video, but I am, in fact, trying my best to avoid causing him pain of any kind. As far as I know, he barely felt a thing. :)

Thanks; I was actually referring to the thong of the whip and don't want to over-condition. I live in Las Vegas NV so more frequent dressing is needed due to the dry climate. I was just curious as to how much; I always grease my fall...probably too much lol.

@J1613R You should grease your fall after every cracking session to keep it in good working condition and to make it last longer.

@flicky76 Hey Daren, could you break down the overhead crack and the underhand crack (where the whip starts moving on the ground behind you)...I seem to have the cattleman down once I quit muscling the whip and just let it flow naturally. I haven't whacked myself too bad yet, but I'm apprehensive on the overhead crack still...just want to get the technique broken down a little before I attempt it...BTW Joe Strains whip is awesome...thanks, J. Roed

Got my whip!!! Is it normal (a learning curve) to whack yourself while learning how to handle a whip??? I am a little sore, and I've only cracked a little bit since it arrived Wednesday...

I have a whip maintenance question for you...great channel btw. Since you use your whip(s) quite a bit, how long do falls and cracker/poppers last you and how often do you condition with pecards??? I am still waiting on my delivery from FedEx from Joe!!! Waiting stinks!!!

Also...something I didn't know...Anthony Delongis played one of Brad Wesleys thugs in Roadhouse (among many other more prestigious movie roles)...another favorite of mine!!! I believe he played "Gary Ketchum" the thug in the monster truck that destroyed the car dealership at Wesleys behest...my favorite Wesley thug I guess...

Actually, the techniques you use in some of the standard cracks you've demonstrated I will try myself once my Joe Strain Raiders whip arrives (just paid it off; Joe is beginning it this week!! Excited). This is very special to me; I've wanted a real whip ever since seeing ROTLA in the theater as a six year old kid...now, thirty years later, I am getting a ROTLA screen accurate bullwhip...how cool is that? But I am rambling... Perhaps break down the technique where the whip/fall wrap around you.

@flicky76 i suppose too. I think you are really a kind boy ! But what does happen in the depht of mind ? once upon a day, in a circus, i were a partner of a whip master for one minut. : fortunately i think, his art were no so high he could read in the thoughts !!!!
