An early morning Trislander flight from Alderney to Guernsey. JOEY is to be painted blue and renamed JOANNA under proposals for Blue Islands to take over Aurigny, buying the airline for £1. Help to stop JOEY being painted blue by joining the Say No to Aurigny Blue Islands merger on Facebook. Aurigny made a loss of £1.5M this year so the States of Guernsey are going to be spending as much on the airport as they would if they supported Aurigny to that extent for 50 years. Meanwhile the economy of Alderney is dying with flights having been cut to it from Shoreham and other airports, so it's now a bother to get there, especially with a 2 hour checkin through Gatwick, and a 2 1/2 hour wait at Guernsey Airport for the connecting flight. This year is the worst attended Alderney Week that anyone can remember.

The Facebook Campaign is at http://www.facebook.com/home.php?#!/p... Say NO to Blue Islands Aurigny merger. You might also like the new book about the history of JOEY and his Friends - http://www.amazon.co.uk/History-Aviat...
