It has been my dream for many years to present a piece regarding world and social issues through the art of dance in the hopes that it would remind people that there is still so much work to be done and to inspire and empower the next generation to strive for change for the future and start to make a different today.
- ~ Jade Jager Clark- Choreographer JHHA Performance Company

This is 1 of 7 routines comprising our 25 minute production concerning world and social issues. Each piece is danced by young hip hop dancers ages 7 to 17 from Jade's Hip Hop Academy (JHHA) Performance Company.

The Production can be seen in its entirety on our channel under "Dance Weekend 12" however the audio has been temporarily stripped by the Tube. We hope it will allowed to come back soon.

  • Excellent artistic progression! Your exploration of themes and motifs is solidifying into something tangible and accessible! Social activism via dance is our responsibility as artists in hip-hop. Our cultural invention was birthed in the flames of social activism! Keep exploring and honing your articulation and stagecraft! Great job guys! :-)
