sigh, that is so cool, I am way too inconsistent to train my rats to do anything! well, actually I have had them only 10 days and I've just been getting them used to me and being picked up:P AHHH!!! so COOL!!!

@breyercollecter2000 No rats were harmed in the making of this video. "Lab" does not mean torture chamber. This was a behavioral experiment, and I would argue that this rat got 3 square meals per day, water, and clean bedding. Never at any time was he given drugs, shocked, or any form of punishment. After these exercises were complete, he was given to an elementary school to make children happy.

Maybe they are over-fed... This rat was at about 80% free feed weight. This was in a lab.

man thats fucking sweet, where do i start? my rats around a year, and shes chill as hell, ive got a well trained dog but dog tactics dont seem to work with rats.. either way, keep up the good shit man.

You have to have a way to deliver rewards (maybe a clicker would work while you drop food in...I don't know). Then you have to reward each small step... 1) go near the marbles 2) pick up a marble 3) stand on a can 4) pick up marbles while on can 5) let them go in a can. At each step only reward the behavior you want...
