Some short clips of Denver's excellent light rail network, including some recent extensions to the line. Recorded January 19th, 2008. The network is well laid out, and the LRV's ride well, but they sure could use a good wash!

  • The second clip is also of Nine Mile see the entrance stair case to the left with no cover. The inverted roof to the elevators is another give away. Then the highway is on both sides you can tell by the fences. The only places with highway on both sides, is along highway I-225 (Dayton and Nine mile stations). I am glad you folks like the light rail. I hope the RTD gets a move on and lays many more miles of track.

  • Thanks for the video, I can't wait til Fastracks is complete.

  • I like Denver's LRT cars but I wish they would get some Siemens S70 avantos like the ones on Portland's MAX, Charlotte's LYNX, and Norfolk's Tide, they are the sleakest looking LRT trains out there and would go great with such a beautiful system.

  • @Thinker669 denver is just right for me. never had a nose bleed up here. and I live higher than denver by almost 1000 feet.

  • And your nose bleeds for no reason. The city is too high up.

  • There is less oxygen in Denver.

  • Very Cool, I drive the SD160s in Calgary!! We have high mounting platforms without the steps. Denver has a nice system I'll have to make my way over there one day

  • no it was also nine mile. trust me, i live here

  • Nice video, except that wasn't Broadway station, looked like Dry Creek.
