Dr. Gladd explains the benefits of turmeric and how to increase the amount you consume daily. Turmeric plays a role in lowering inflammation and is a good idea to incorporate both the spice and possibly as a supplement.

  • Here is a version of a Turmeric tea i make.

    6 cups of water

    add cinnamon 1 tsp

    add ginger 1 tsp

    add cloves 1/2 tsp

    bring to a boil

    Add Turmeric 1 to 2 tsp mattering on how strong you want it

    Add honey or lemon for flavor

    Enjoy!

  • I cook with the root diced up and stir fried in olive oil. Good with yellow summer squash and scrambled eggs. Hope to prevent alzheimers. So far so good.

  • I have taken it for cold and upset stomach and it does work. But its considered a very powerful anti inflammatory product. Back in the days when there was no Tylenol and other anti inflammatories turmeric was the way to go.
