Yes, she did win. What should determine a win or loss? When someone dies? No, Dead Fantasy 3 centered around these 2 fighters, and toward the end it was Hitomi that outclassed Tifa in Martial Arts by disarming her of the Materia and beating her to a bloody pulp. At that point, Dead Fantasy 3 was over, with Hitomi standing victor, and Tifa stumbling around bleeding. Please try and accept that.

Hitomi can use materias because she is observant enough to quickly know the functions of each materias. She observes it from the fight in the tower and now in this church. She's smart enough to remember the specific materias. Also she dont need sight to see the materias, it is alredy invincible, she only need her other senses to feel,hear, and see the materias..
