A segment of their routine captured while the Drill Team was rehearsing for the America's Home Town Thanksgiving Patriotic Concert. This was shot at the Plymouth South Middle School in Plymouth Ma.

The special guest who comes from the bleachers is John Caldwell Calhoun, Lt. Commander USN (Ret.) who was on hand to watch some of the rehearsal time at the school.

  • GodWilling1993 is right..i am currently an Army JROTC cadet and our drill team cant even be in the same room as these guys..JROTC is sad. i'm sorry to say.

  • Alex, you know better!

  • @amsdriller44 There is no need to swear.

Apparently, you are not familiar with the differences in Ceremonial XD and Competitive XD. GodWIlling1993 has explained the fine line and given examples. Service teams are not "better than" JROTC teams nor is the reverse true either. Both categories of teams are great, fun to watch and very different from each other.

  • @GodWilling1993

There is a fine line between Silent / Ceremonial drill and exhibition drill like you see with high school teams.

  • Have you seen some of the recent ones? For instance the one that took 2nd last year at nationals, A LOT more impressive than this. Mckinely HS I believe was the name, John Jay is another one I can say is better too. Just my opinion. You don't have to like it or agree with it. The USCGDT is good, but just lack that "wow" factor.

  • @GodWilling1993

This is bullshit. Coast Guard DT would shit on almost every single JROTC drill team. I'd like to see you tell a USCG member that a high school drill team is superior.

  • USADT>NGA>USMCDT>USN>USAFHG>A LOT OF JRTOC UNITS DT>USCGDT

  • USADT>USMCDT>USN>USAFHG>A LOT OF JRTOC UNITS DT>USCGDT

  • @TMDDcdr Actually, they were around before the NAVY
