1960 #3 Le Mans Corvette Historic Return

Automotive history will be made this summer when the #3 Cunningham 1960 Corvette returns to LeMans, France... the site of the car's win at the legendary 24 hour endurance race. Following a multi-year search, the car was found almost 20 years ago. Its owner had no idea of the car's past. Restored to its race day configuration of a half-century ago and owned by the Chip Miller family, the Corvette will be a featured stand-out at the 2010 LeMans race.

It was AWSOME to follow car #3 and driver John Fitch around the track on Saturday at the 24 Hours of Le Mans! The old Vette and Mr Fitch took to the track and led us on a lap we won't forget!

It is with tears in my eyes whilst writing this humble sentence, that such a dream has come true. Restored from that great 1960 victory.o now. The Miller family had great goal, and respect to Chip allowed full appreciation with the delivered product. Credit must go the manufacturer “God Bless GM” Corvette’s and God bless USA for it Technology thus making a great victory possible

. The great victory was enormous as they were pitted against the finest that Europe could muster. There were other great days with Henry Ford (2), FORD GT and the GM Chevrolet Chaparrals. Yes Sir American at its best. 5/5
