It took over 6 weeks for the avocado to open-maybe even longer. it was a very long wait, but it's worth it when it starts to crack open. So be patient! It will be planted in a pot by the window in the next few days-part 3 coming soon!
Every time I eat an Avocado I bury the seed in my garden and in a few months they will sprout. If it is a very mild winter they will survive it, however most winters they do not. I do have large Avocado I grow in a pot that I grew from seed 20 years ago. You have a great channel!
mine cracked in about a week its gunna be a fast grower

I wonder if the avocado would have sprouted sooner in a glass container rather than plastic.

@RandomHuman1000 Both times did you put it in water? Maybe it needs to store water before you plant it?

@DBSpy1 If they are not grafted, it may take a very long time until they have fruits (even 15 years!)

@starryian007 The advice is to add some charcoal into the water to keep it "sweet"
