Fade to Black is about total dissipation of personal being. Suicidal reason is in Soliloquy also, but in the man suiciding to 'pass into a world of his dreams, and finally know peace' because his life was stolen by the Federation that took the peace, 'life's meaning'. Both songs have choral like emotive verses about man dying because of the hopelessness of life for him, with an even more emotive guitar solo. Now that I think about 'fading to black', doesn't it come from a reason to 'soliloquy'?

4:10-4:52 is like Soliloquy, which is Part VI of song/progressive story '2112' by Rush. This just now came to me upon hearing the lyrics & voice of James at this climax transitioning phrase, with the man in the song finally committing suicide and lamenting about why before he takes his mortal life. His spirit is depressed and dissolved into hellish nothingness and 'he needs the end to set him free' so he can greet Death because sadly 'only he can save himself' and he will "Fade to Black"(cont.)

I like Megadeth too, I just listen to Metallica more. I think everyone who listens to music should be grateful for their fellow music enthusiasts.
