REMOVAL OF 6K+ HONEY BEES SWARM FROM COMB/NEST IN WALL

OUR LOCAL COUNTY AGENT, UNABLE TO LOCATE THE QUEEN/NEST, WAS FORCED TO EXTERMINATE THE HIVE. PRETTY AMAZING HOW MANY JUST POURED OUT OF THAT ROTTEN PIECE OF WOOD -- UNABLE TO FLY, AS THEY WERE COVERED IN HONEY. THEY WERE ALL DEAD WITHIN ABOUT 20 MINUTES.
**NOTE** BEES ARE ENDANGERED AND PROTECTED SPECIES -- REMOVAL OR EXTERMINATION MUST BE DONE BY A LICENSED BEE KEEPER OR COLLECTOR. DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME OR YOU COULD FACE A $25,000.00 FINE.

This is not good.....why kill the bees at all? He could not locate the queen and the hive, you should have told the exterminator to leave and then call (877)224-4880. They couldn't find it the first time, so they killed the bees? If they were covered in honey....common sense tells me that there is honeycomb nearby. In CA, These guys find the honey first time, every time and they refuse to kill bee.

@kingnick53 You can always tell when someone knows little-to-nothing about the story. The queen was found the next day; the hive was behind two layers of brick on each side; they had to be killed bc they were a danger to kids; and this, mercifully, isn't California. Californians always wish to project their beliefs and traditions onto others (when we don't do that to them)....whilst, at once, having absolutely NO interest, tolerance or respect for the beliefs and traditions of others.

@xtexred I am not from CA, I am from MA, and Kingnick is absolutely right. This video has nothing to do with tradition. It has to do with lack of knowledge and respect they honeybees, which are slowly dying off, and are required for our food supply and the survival of the human race. Have you ever heard of Colony Collapse Disorder? Never call an exterminator for honeybees, call a beekeeper

@HazeyModss Well if there were no bees then how would all that pollinating to provide your food get done, the answer is it wouldn't. Bees can have a hard time with all the pesticides used in agriculture and flaky seasonal weather.

there is never, ever any reason to kill honeybees, I am a beekeeper from the east coast. Your county "agent " was incompetant not to call in a removal service.

Honey bees are not a danger to children.
