Very funny,the Travis Servalan outtake is from series1 though.

Yes....they forgot to show what Avon was laughing at(in the scene from terminal, where Blake has a beard and is on a life support machine)....its a small pink teddy bear that Gareth Thomas pulls out.....thats why he cracked up!

Not that I've seen. I think everything that still exists is on the series three and four DVDs, which is where these have been taken from.

Don't think the producers really tried to make it like 'Star Wars', given that the first series came out at the same time, and the second was half written.
In the last series Star Wars did have a bit of an influence on the design of the ships, according to the effects team.
