  • Science operates by what is called methodological naturalism. That is, in science, it is assumed that the material world is all that exists.

This is not to say that the supernatural does not exist. What it says is that, because science only examines that which can be tested and observed, the supernatural is out of reach.

What makes something supernatural instead of natural- its ability to be measured by the scientific method.

  • The most important thing to understand is that you cannot test what is supernatural by natural means. So, what makes something supernatural in comparison to natural?

Trying to comprehend supernatural vs. natural, infinite vs. finite and so on is difficult.
