Sorry, but every country/people have some horrible part of their past. Being able to laugh at something tragic doesn't make it any less tragic, it just means you can find humor in even the worst things. You need to find humor in all aspects of life. Nothing is sacred, if you can't laugh at Hitler, what can you laugh at? AIDS? Racism? Where is the line?
