Lol, my cats hate water! I didn't bathe them when they were kittens, so they try to avoid it. Sometimes what I used to do was get a towel and run it under warm water, wring it out and run it along their fur. It feels like their mother's tongue to them.

I exposed my kittens to a wet wash cloth a couple times, then introduced them to water baths. This way it became easy to give them their flea and tick baths, or in the spring when they start to shed, it gets a lot of the loose hair off. If you have outdoor cats, then being able to give them water baths helps to eliminate the chances of fleas and ticks coming into the house.

is that true? how on gods green earth could anyone do that? not everyone could keep the kitten fair enough but at least put a note through your door and tell you its there.
i would have kept the kitten, my legs would not have carried me to that centre! you must have asked your dad?!

awe:D my cats dont mind baths, but our kitten hates the. She meows really low and tries to jump out:P but when im in the bath, she wont leave me alone.

You don't give cats baths...they bathe themselves.

uhh, she was a stray that was filthy and covered in fleas. we were giving her a bath with medicine that killed them.
