Two new Ambassadors and two High commissioners have presented their credentials to the President.

They are from Kuwait, Canada, Germany and India. They presented their credentials to President Rajapaksa today. The event took place at the Presidential Secretariat. They were conducted to the venue in horse carriages. The newly appointed

Ambassador from Kuwait presented his credentials to the President. He was Yaquob Yousef Al Ateegi. Next to hand over the credentials was Bruce Levy, the High Commissioner from Canada. The new Ambassador from the Federal Republic of Germany is Jens Uwe Plotner. New High Commissioner from India is Ashok K. Kantha. He also presented his credentials. Present on the occasion were Minister Rohitha Bogollagama and Presidents Secretary Lalith Weeratunga.
