Band: Ondskapt
Song: Djävulens Ande
Album: Dödens Evangelium

Ett ondskans mörker flyter ut i skogarna
Nattetid, då kristet blod har sin vila

En ande från den gamla världen

Nattens svarta vålnad
En skugga från urtiden
Djävulens hand på jorden
En själens bane

En uråldrig styggelse
En gång uppstigen från underjorden
Kallar dig inatt

  • There are very few black metal bands with any potential to be taken seriously. This is one of them.

  • @clasicrockmusicfreak I don't know if you used google translate or something, but a better translation of the title would be "the spirit of the devil". Either as in the expression "in the spirit of (something)" or, perhaps more likely, something metaphysical, akin to The Holy Ghost (of the Christian Trinity).

  • lol : ghost of the evil -.-

  • Late one night in 2008 I was layin on a mattress in a little hut at the top of a collapsed volcano in Indonesia. I was travelling alone and that night I was lost on weed and mushrooms. I listened to this album on my ipod, in the dark, and I've never been so emerged by a piece of music. Like walking around in a landscape painted by these sounds - and believe me; it's not a pretty picture.

All the while knowing that 75,000 years ago that very volcano caused a worldwide volcanic winter.

  • Found this band via Black Metal Satanica, as I'm sure a lot of people have. Well anyway I'm glad I did, for this here is the proverbial shit.

  • nice name for a band

  • A voice like the wailing of a rusty chainsaw. Amazing!

  • The Recordings are much better than the live shows!

  • EPIC EPIC EPIC

  • @DanielVladimir2 Sono malvagi fidati...non è solo drakkar a dirlo

  • True Orthodox right here without question! Ondskapt is my most loved Swedish black metal band period! Hard to beat this album.
