is it even easir just to burn it in the factories instead of going the extra step of converting it to pellets (which takes more energy).

If you look at the wood they are using, you will see that the lumber is not suitable for lumber, however, is greatly suitable for pellets and eliminates waste.

So explain to me why the wood is not turned into lumber and the waste then turned into pellets? Seems like somewhat a waste of a product ( lumber ).
