  • I can't believe you have this.

  • @PJDooWop no PJ this is Weldons group of Larks..

  • It's that slight downward pitch slide on the "dear" vibrato which begins around 2:08 that slices the bacon in SW's lair. Kind of hard to tell who is doing what. There are twin leads, male and female, which boggle me noggin.

  • @srercrcr Exactly! And that reaching, the struggle with the particular lyric is what makes this recording so fearsomely soulful, IMO.

  • GREAT!

  • thank you for your help. this is cool web site. lots of hard to find oldies.

  • Actually Erik, Diddle-Le-Bom is by The Love Larks on Masons. The Thrashers did Jeannie / Forever My Love on Masons.. Same label, different records (and both are exceptionally rare)

  • You might be having trouble finding Diddle-Le-Bom because it's by The Love Larks, not The Larks.

  • ok thank you and for sharing your music hear on you tube.

  • @jeffcool78 the song you are looking for is by THE THRASHERS on the "mason" record label

    very ,very rare !!!!
