The gripping story of a Japanese scientific expedition to the Antarctic in 1958. During the expedition, a team of dogs were stranded. Amazingly, several survived until their handlers returned six months later. This extraordinary film, based on a true story, is the second most successful movie ever released in Japan. Soundtrack by vangelis.
