  • Jeez ur doing so well! and your friends horse is amazing and he is doing so well! congrats! :) xxxxx

  • With his knee action, and willingness to jump, esspecially stranger objects, Id encourage you guys to take him eventing. Intermediate probably would be best. Not too low, but not too high, get him a little start. Cute little mover

  • Are your stirrups pink!? If so I'm totally jealous

  • haha people do this all the time! It's called... EVENTING! xD haha just kidding(: Great job! Wish I was as cool as you :D

  • Wow. That's a nice horse. And for only his 4th time. Wow.

  • His trot and canter look very nice!

  • @Dubin619 They are absolutely nothing alike, if your mom rode intermediate she'd know Pelhams aren't even used in that level. Or at least have the sense to teach you about bits. Double bridles are designed to control both the lateral and vertical set of the head. They sit in two different portions of the mouth and apply different levels of pressure. A pelham is just the philosophy of leverage--leverage means more control, it just allows you to do it only when necessary.

  • @kieshorse actually, considering you can ride in double reigns in a pelham, they kinda are simalar, my mums an intermediate dressage rider, so i think i'd know.

    lol. people are hilar sometimes.

  • the awkward moment when a dressage horse can jump higher on his fourth time, than you've managed to for the past 4 years.....

  • @Dubin619 ... are you confusing a pelham and a double bridle? beeeecause they are not the same thing.

    at all.
