Started jumping my friends dressage horse once a week, he's green and this was my 4th time jumping him, he went SOOOO well! Taking him out competing to a little SJ comp soon which should be fun! The last clips of the girl in the cream jods are my friend zoe and he horse nessie!

With his knee action, and willingness to jump, esspecially stranger objects, Id encourage you guys to take him eventing. Intermediate probably would be best. Not too low, but not too high, get him a little start. Cute little mover

@Dubin619 They are absolutely nothing alike, if your mom rode intermediate she'd know Pelhams aren't even used in that level. Or at least have the sense to teach you about bits. Double bridles are designed to control both the lateral and vertical set of the head. They sit in two different portions of the mouth and apply different levels of pressure. A pelham is just the philosophy of leverage--leverage means more control, it just allows you to do it only when necessary.

@kieshorse actually, considering you can ride in double reigns in a pelham, they kinda are simalar, my mums an intermediate dressage rider, so i think i'd know.
