  • @MustangCoupe1951 All of the archive footage are News Reel outtakes (1909 to 1927), not Hollywood recreations - so those are the real people. The guy holding the large award/cup is Yakima Canutt who had just won a bronc competition (1917?). The 1880s only had still images. As for the 1980s - the Radney and Bill performance footage was shot April 2, 1988.

  • was 20 yrs old when this came out. Livin' in Nashville, TN. Hated country music until I moved there. WOW! Loved this band.

  • Great tune and video, but there is no way that footage is from the 1880s. Hollywood feature films were not even of that quality until well after the turn of the century.
