This is a video made to show the procedure for alignment of a Zenith space command remote control chassis. This particular chassis is a space command 600 for color TV. Its a very simple procedure if you have a scope. Use the mechanical remote control to achieve the most satisfactory results. Just to note, I mentioned in the video the negative lead on the 10uF cap but didnt say what to do with it. You clip your VTVM meter lead to it and negative to ground and set your VTVM to -1.5V scale (or simply reverse the meter leads, positive to ground negative to the negative lead of the cap) and adjust for -.9v. The noise you see on the scope display is some regeneration and has no effect on obtaining peak amplitude during alignment.

  • Nice video. I remember those ultrasonic remotes. They were nice because the didn't need batteries. I could make our Quasar tv jump channels if I rattled my keys just right.

  • Thanks-Id like to find a quasar remote set someday. They are all but completey gone.

  • I can STILL hear that chime that make my eardrums go inside-out! owwww

  • Fascinating. I did not know there was something like "mechanical" remotes.

  • @geekforlifevandc you're not even real either and you loose amplitude when we peak you out and non atinuating. I'm gonna go watch the weather now

  • @oooowwwwdddd sais the typical dumbass

  • keep going keep going I am loving this geek porn. Keep going keep going. Damn 11 mins of geek speak. Oh you are a geek god!

  • omg I just wanted to see the damn remote and then you got me intrigued by the non attenuating probe dc probe for your oscillator. lol

  • @oooowwwwdddd haha sucker

  • @eigh12 Oh stop, you're not real either. All you are is a bunch of old computer death rays that were programed by Kojak in 1973 for Zenith televisions which were the only TV's that Kojak was broadcast to back then. They didn't have TV's back then. Sony made them in 1995 when Michael Jackson made his playground. I'm not listening to you because you aren't even real LOL

  • @oooowwwwdddd hahaha please go away and die

  • @chris71mach1 This is just animation like the Larry King vs. Sarah Palin video I made. My video explains how this one was made.
